Higher Education (HE) colleges

Maybe you want to know more about going to university? What can you do there and what will it be like?

There are several universities in and close to Southampton:

There are lots of things you need to consider when choosing where to study. Some people like to stay close to home to be near friends and family, and to save money on rent. Others want more independence and want to live away from home. Some people choose their university because of the courses offered, others look at the social activities and nightlife!

If you fancy studying abroad, Careers Europe has some very useful information on studying in Europe, or Study Abroad is good for other countries.
