Visit the Directgov website to download loads of information about what it's like to work in particular jobs and occupations, including what qualifications you'd need, how much you'd get paid and much more.
Our youth support drop-in centres have lists of job vacancies for the local area. If you are 18 or over, go to your local Jobcentre Plus, or search for local and national vacancies online.
If you discover that you need more training or qualifications for your perfect career, you can search the Next Step database which has thousands of courses across the region.
