Reflection

This page suggests a model which can be used by staff individually in support sessions or as a group to build on experience gained and protect our own wellbeing.

Why reflect?

This model of reflective practice aims to help workers think through their responses and be in a stronger position to choose how to respond, rather than react. It also promotes a learning environment where all staff can benefit and influence practice.

It promotes objective, mature responses to situations which have many internal and external influences.
