Early Years Professional Status
The early years sector is working towards becoming a graduate led profession. Undertaking a Foundation Degree is the first step towards attaining Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) and the expectation is that by 2015 all settings offering full day care will employ a graduate EYPS practitioner who will lead the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage and ensure that high quality provision leads to better outcomes for children.
