When would a 'CAF' be of help to me?
- If there is concern about a baby, child or young person.
- If you or your partner need support as parents.
- If your family needs additional support.
How does it work?
If you agree, a worker will ask you and your child some questions. You will be asked to sign the form to give permission to share the information.
Children and young people may choose to talk on their own with the worker.
What is my role as a parent/carer?
- Tell the worker what is going well and where you or your child would like help.
- Let them know your ideas of who could help you best.
- Meet with the people offering support to you.
- Make sure your child goes to any appointments made for them.
- Let your Lead Professional know if things change.
